Pyssly

Questions and answers

What is Pyssly?

A site that draws colouring pages from what you write. You describe the picture in your own words, in Swedish or English, and we draw it in clear black lines on white paper, ready to print on A4. The site is run by Adinosaur AB, the company behind 2Fivers.

How do I make my own colouring page?

Sign in with your email address, write what the picture should show and press Draw. If you like, choose a style first, from classic to space, and whether the paper should be portrait, landscape or square. After a moment, usually less than half a minute, two suggestions arrive, or four if you want. Pick the one you like and print it. Registration is not open yet. We will let more people in when the site is ready.

Does it cost anything?

You draw for free with the crayons you are given. One picture costs one crayon, so two suggestions cost two crayons. Every account gets 30 crayons to start with and 4 new ones every day, up to 20. You get more when we choose one of your pictures for the gallery (10), and when a friend you invited has drawn their first picture (20 each). If you want to draw more, an adult can buy crayons in the shop. Anyone can print the pictures in the gallery, without an account.

Who can use Pyssly?

Anyone aged 13 or older can have an account of their own. Younger children draw with an adult's account. You sign in with a code or link we send to your email, with no password. Registration is not open yet. We will let more people in when the site is ready.

What happens to what I write?

It is sent to an AI service in the USA, which draws the pictures and may keep it for a while to detect misuse. We keep it on our own server in Sweden until you delete it. Every night it also goes into encrypted backups within the EU, where it can stay for up to a year after you delete it. We also use the pictures and what you wrote to train our own AI model. We who run the site can read it, to choose pictures for the gallery and stop misuse, but where we read it, nothing says whose it is. So do not write names or anything else about yourself or anyone else. Other visitors see a picture only if you have allowed it to be shown in the gallery and we have chosen it, or if you share it yourself with a private link, and then without what you wrote and without anything that says it is yours. No ads and no tracking.

May I use my pictures at school?

Yes. You may print, colour, share and use the pictures you create at home and in school, preschool and after-school care. You may not sell them or publish them as a colouring book.
